REMEZ team Bible game home screen

Searching for a “Christian Time’s Up” often means looking for a familiar kind of evening: guessing Bible references through descriptions, a single word, and finally gestures. REMEZ ! is an independent baræ game built around Bible cards and that three-round progression.

REMEZ is not an official edition of Time’s Up and is not affiliated with its rights holders. The name is used here only to explain the comparison. The game on this site is called REMEZ !

Why compare it with Time’s Up?

The official Time’s Up! Party presentation by Repos Production describes three rounds with the same cards: descriptions, one-word clues, and acting. That progression explains the comparison with REMEZ. Each game has its own content, edition, and detailed rules.

Visit the publisher for an official Time’s Up edition. For baræ’s Bible cards on a phone, explore REMEZ. You do not need to buy an expansion or import another game’s cards.

What REMEZ brings to a Christian game night

REMEZ is free and opens in a browser. At least four people play in the same room, split into two teams, using a shared phone. Card selection lets you prepare a game around references your group knows.

The Bible theme sets a direction without making every turn a memory test. Players listen, remember what others said, and find ways to communicate. An unexpected clue can return later as a reference everyone shares.

Behind the scenes at baræ

Playing stays free.

Advertising helps keep baræ running: hosting the site, maintaining the games, and creating new ones.

The goal stays the same: games everyone can play for free.

Three ways to recognize the same card

1. Describe

Build clues around the card. For a character such as Moses, you might refer to a story your group knows. The useful clue is the one your teammates recognize, not necessarily the most scholarly one.

2. Choose one word

The next round allows a single word. Earlier exchanges become valuable: one word can bring back a description everyone remembers. Pay attention even when it is not your turn.

3. Act it out

The final round uses gestures. The cards are familiar, but the way of communicating changes. Leave room for the person acting and demonstrate before the game if anyone is new to this format.

Prepare your first game

  1. Open REMEZ on your phone and make sure the group can follow.
  2. Form two teams with a mix of experience and knowledge.
  3. Select suitable cards and read the rules on screen.
  4. Demonstrate the three rounds, then start playing.
Make the first game welcoming: begin with cards people can recognize. You can explore more on another evening. A challenging selection is only useful if everyone still feels included.

What could you play afterward?

Use our Christian game night guide to plan the gathering. If you want a change of theme, explore baræ’s other free games, with challenges, bluffing, and word games for different moods.

One card across all three rounds

Take a fictional teaching example with Moses, adapted to the cards you select. In the description round, a player mentions leaving Egypt and crossing the sea without saying the name. In the one-word round, “sea” can recall that earlier explanation. In the mime round, moving both arms apart may bring back the same memory without speaking.

These are suggested clues, not official required answers. Another team may remember something different. If the character is unfamiliar, explain the context before the competition or remove the card from a first selection. The repeated cards build shared memories; they do not remove every knowledge barrier. REMEZ is an independent baræ game, not an official Time’s Up edition.
